Hi All: For those of you not prepping for Super Bowl can anyone help me please? i am looking for CURRENT information on rescheduling my interview in Montreal. I did electronic filing with NVC so not waiting for any packets or anything. I received my interview date from NVC the other day. YEAH! But I have to try to reschedule. I registered for Loomis on line and when I click on the CSC website to reschedule an interview there is no option for immigrant visas, only non-immigrant. It shows on CSC that I don't have an interview scheduled (could just be because it was Friday when I received and it is not there yet). Should I call or should I email them? The last information on vj is from 2011 regarding this. Has anyone with a CR-1 visa had to reschedule in Montreal? If so if you could share how, I would appreciate it. Some of the information links are out dated and some don`t exist anymore. Seems like the CSC site defaults to non-immigrant visas. Very frustrating!

Rescheduling with Montreal is VERY VERY VERY difficult. As an IR1/CR1 you cannot do it on the Loomis site. You can try to contact Montreal via their online form (you cannot email them.) What I would do is try to get the NVC to reschedule if they haven't yet sent your packet to Montreal. Call them first thing Monday morning if your CEAC doesn't say it's already in transit. Otherwise you really should just try to make the interview assigned.

You can reschedule the K1 visa using the site you scheduled it with initially. Cr1/Ir1 do not schedule their own interviews so cannot.

I really really have a hard time understanding how anyone would possibly not do everything in their power to be at what is probably the most important interview of their life? Unless weather made it impossible to get there on time I would quit my job to be there and find a new one if denied.

But maybe that's just me, I am sorry I dont understand. Wish I did.
