Hi guys..

If anyone can help me out and be patient of reading my story/ journey...

My fiancé and I has been together for 6 years now. We have a 5 yr old daughter which is already a American citizen with blue passport holder due to her dad applied for a citizenship for her when she was born. (She was born here in PI btw). After 5 yrs. my fiancé(the father of my daughter) has to go back to the US to work and be able to support the family. He been far from us about a yr and a half now. just recently we applied for k1 visa last nov 2013. Got an interview last jan 24, 2014.

During the interview, the consulate just asked me 3 question which is.. Maybe a 5 min interview.. That quick.

1) why is our petition just for me, are we leaving my daughter behind. (So I answered, she is an American citizen and a blue passport holder so we only need a visa for myself.)

2) why we did not get married before. ( I answered we were to young to get married then.

3) when is the wedding? (And so on.. No need to elaborate ;))

And the consulate just smile and gave me a brochure and then he said "incase you feel violated there in states. You just call the no. Listed) and he let us proceed to the next window.

The final window told us that we are on "refused under section 221(g) for we have to send supporting documents regarding our w2.

I got confuse?!? Why would he give those list of no. To call if we were refused.

And so we did, we send the lacking documents the next day. And checked my status as "AP" administrative processing.

It's been a week now and I haven't heard from the USEB. however, our status as AP is updated everyday but still AP. It's waiting game again Iand I'm just scared to death that they will deny us the visa.

Do you think they will ungrant us the visa? Considering, that my daughter is already an American citizen? It's like, it's just me who need a pass just to be with my family. Need some words of encouragement guys... Does anyone has the same situation or undergo the same situation?

And reply can help so much.. :) pls pls still praying hard to make this wait over.

I had asked the American consul after my interview if i passed. He replied that so far all my docs are good and that i will wait for my number to be called back. Then i was told that i am on AP. All docs are good..No additional docs are needed.

I was thinking that maybe after the interview with the American consul, someone is going to do the background check again and they will deliberate the case.

My case was on AP for like 3 weeks. It was updating every 4 days or so,but still on AP. It was changed to "Ready" in the 4th week and finally it changed to "issued" on the 5th week.

Just hang on there, if the W2's are after they checked it, then you will get ur visa. I don't see any reason to refuse you because you have an American citizen child.

I-130 Submitted ---- 09/16/2011

you got the paper from a phillipino worker, who has no interest in yer case - they only hand out papers.

Now, the Vice-Consul that you spoke with, a USCitizen, that's the person making the decision on your casefile.

I suggest you ask your USCitizen Petitioner to call into the NVC hotline, punching option 3,

and inquire for casefile status when NVC is open. He can learn more about your AP process, with that phone call.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Whoa Nelly ! Want NVC Info? see http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Congratulations on your approval ! We All Applaud your accomplishment with Most Wonderful Kissies !

I had my k1 interview last July 2013 with no 221g, passport retained by the USEM ...then ap for 44 days until I decided to make 1 call to the USEM to inquire the status and if there is any problem with my k1 papers...the girl said there is no problem with my papers and that visa will be issued the next day and call them back after 2 days...indeed it was issued the next day when I check my status on line, Called again after 2 days and the girl said visa is issued and I received my passport with visa after 7 days...I would recommend that you call the USEM and inquire the status of ur k1.

Thank you for your reply..I truly appreciate it. I'm a bit relief with your story. Thank you so much. You have same situation with me right? You also have a US citizen kid?

I really thought my interview went fine since he barely have questions. They said its a sign that they trust you. They did not even ask or look at any proof of togetherness that I brought. They did not look at my photos, call logs, emails, remittance etc. I really thought that was a good sign coz they just got me in the window really quick. And the consulate gave me that white brochure. And I end up being AP.

But 3 weeks? Wow.. That's a bit long. The thing is... We pulled my daughter Out from school last month coz we thought we are leaving this February. If it takes more than a month of waiting because of AP.. Then I guess I have to bring our kid back to school. Shocks this is really stressful...

Thank so much again ???

Guys, I called the USEM today and they informed us that our application is over. We got refuse due to not enough income. And there is nothing we can do about it.

This is a very heart breaking new for us. Especially for my kid.

Does anyone know if it's ok if the parents of my fiancé can help the affidavit of support as secondary sponsor?

If so, perhaps you didn't submit enough evidence. You said he sent in his W2s? Are you sure they arrived?

Unfortunately he did not.. He is under a thousand dollars. We sent in his 2012 and 2013 w2s and we also sent in his bank statements and his paystabs.

I guess this is it for our journey... It's devastating ang heart breaking... But we'll move on from this..

Thank you everyone.. :)
