Its good u included her in your visa application process. I also have a daughter I included whose process I will start any moment from now.

Once you included her in your process, you have up to a year from the date your visa was issue to initiate the process for her to join you. If you don't do that and the one year elapses then your wife will have to file for her as her step daughter which takes sometime.

So the best thing in this situation is to start the process for her before this year October which makes it a yeaf since you had your visa in November.

To start, email the embassy and inform them that you want to start your daughter's visa application. Provide your full name, DOB, Case number and your visa issuance date.

GOOD LUCK

ya, you need to kick start the K-2 visa application.

it's similar to what you did for your K-1 visa application (no no, not the I-129F)

figure out how to pay the visa fee and file the DS-160

plus arrange for the medical exam.

there's some steps in post #3 you should follow also.

Go Get Em, and Good Luck !

your spouse should file for step daughter

No. The child is eligible for a K-2, a derivative of the mother's K-1, as long as they are unmarried and under 21. The child can follow-to-join within a year of the mother receiving with the K-1. http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/types/family/fiance-k-1.html#15

So, the embassy must be emailed first in order to initiate the process? I thought they would email the petitioner when an appointment was available!!!!!!

if you pay the fee and file the I-160 (is that the right number?) online,

the embassy will contact you,

instead.
