thait 32 you case is at NBC. Vawa Unit is doing this lately:

-Vawa approved, they email the alien saying the case is with one of USCIS office.

-At the same day or the day after another email saying the case was transferred to local office,

-7/10 later another email saying the case is at NBC.

caryguy87 , you have to get this letter from them

http://www.azdps.gov/services/documents/NewImmigration.pdf, and then you have to do your own affidavit stating you were never arrested. I am sending you through email the letter you have to submit along with your case.

:

I got an rfe after 14 months but took my time to gather wat they wanted didn't want to rush. I took Abt 2 months to do it but after I sent it in I got approval 2 months later. So I am counting in the 2 months of rfe.

That means its taking about 12-14 months for VAWA approval on average when there is no RFE.

SandraNJ: Is that assumption is right? What you say?

Vawa unit until Last October was taking 14/19months to adjudicate a Vawa case, but they hired over 100 immigration officers, now it's taking 3/4 months, despite i have a few cases adjudicated in 60 days after December 2013.

If 60 days is the current speed, That's really amazing !!

VAWA unit is doing its job !

BTW, is vawa unit part of USCIS?

Hi everyone ,

I been reading this forum for a long time ,but I never post because I was affraid that my husband could find out that was me and thag I had applied for vawa, he is very good with computers and kbows how to get to my email. But since I moved out last week, I decided to post here my case timeline to help others that filled around the sme time.

12/10/2011. Filled I360. I 485. I 765

06/06/2013. Vawa Approved

03/24/2014. Received interview letter

04/30/2014. Did the interview at Oakland Park , it last 45 minutes ,I went without a attorney because I dont have money, the officer didnt ask me too many question but he passed page by page of my file and was writing stick notes and place on some pages, he left the room and come back and told me that he need sometime to review my file and make Decision and I will hear from them within 4 months.

Not sure if they will approve it or deny, I m scared because i seen most of people here when went to intwrview the officer made a decision on spot. Not sure what is coming next. Did anyone had the same experience?
