I'm sure this is pretty straight forward, but there seems to be some vagueness on the new I-129F. The current form is newer than the example one on the site, so I'm hoping someone might know the right answer here.

Above question 15, it says "if your fiance is currently in the US, complete the following." and then has questions 15a-h. However, 15e-h are all passport information (number, country of issuance, travel document number, and expiration date) that seem like they could/should apply even if your fiance is not currently in the US. Additionally on the instructions for the form, it specifically refers to those questions and states that it should reference the last time they were in the US.

My question is if I need to answer this. I don't mind giving too much information and answering it anyway, but my worry is that if I do but the passport info there will they then send me an RFE assuming that I left out the other info about her current visit.

Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated as the instructions from the USCIS seem a little vague here.

If your fiance(e) is not currently in the US when you file the petition, then you do not answer those. Leave 15a-h blank. http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-I-129F.pdf
