I just got my NOA1! It took them 3 days do send it.

Can anybody tell me what do I do now? Do I just wait for NOA2? Can I start to gather financial documents (letter from the bank and employer and so on) or it will be an outdated information when NOA2 arrives?

Can I do it in anvance, so I can send the info to my fiance right away when NOA2 arrives?

Thank you, all!

Yes, you CAN gather some financial documentation, but you do not need to, there is plenty of time. Just keep reasearching what papers you will need along with your I-134. I know how you feel, you want to be doing something, but there is just not much to do. Your NOA2 will probobly not arrive for another 60 days or more, and then a few more weeks at the NVC before your fiance sees any paperwork.

Congrats on the NOA1 though!! It feels so good to have everything started.

If I were you I would wait until you have your NOA2, you will still have plenty of time to collect the information required. Depending on where your fiance/e lives then ask them to start gathering information, such as police report and general things of that nature.

I agree with everyone else, you've still got a bit of a wait until your interview so I would wait unti you get your NOA2 at the earliest to get those forms.

The NOA 1 is just acknowledgement that the service center has received your petition. The important one will be the approval NOA. Good luck
