What is the start date of a conditional green card?

I am applying for adjustment of status based on marriage in which I entered less than 2 years ago. We have been waiting for months already and still we did not receive an interview notice.

I was wondering when does the statutory start date of a conditional green card begin? In other words, what is the event that triggers the start date of the statutory 2-year period?

For example, I know that the begin date of an EAD card is the date if was approved.
