This has been going on every since the average person stopped sending money to the Nigerian prince. To the Nigerian it is his business, to the US person it is a dating scam . Apparently many lonely hearts who would not send money to the Nigerian prince will empty their banks/retirements to chase a good looking single person they never meet who has experienced a string of unfortunate events

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

For anyone starting an online relationship... Do a google search for he image first to see if it is a stock image of a model first... And for he love of god... DO NOT SEND $ TO SOMEONE OVER THE INTERNET! It is a business for them and they figure if the person is so stupid that they would believe this and send money, then they deserve to lose it... There is no remorse or morals, it is their business!!
