well,i don't doubt that))i just thuught it's barely possible to get passport within a day,but perhaps it's not such a bad idea?)

It's fairly easy to get same day passports (in fact, within few hours depending on the specific office), you just to pay some more

i'm not taking the risk if i were you.besides the office where they processed the applications for naturalization has moved, don't know where they are located ,might be away from the court house(which means oath may be scheduled a bit later),not sure though,

if you received the interview notice(i believe you did)?what address is listed there as an interview office?

and also could you please check when exactly you've sent your n-400?i belong to the same Baltimore office and applied in the end of august, haven't gotten any interview notices yet, although it has been quite some time.

thank you in advance.

ps-in baltimore they do aoth 4 times per week,so i don't think it's gonna wait for long, but still-try to postpone your trip at least for few days.

I filed N-400 on Aug8

and the interview is on 3701 Koppers Street, Baltimore, MD21227

I received the notice for interview Jan3, 2014

Wow, 5 months and still waiting...? I guess each field office has a different waiting time... I filed my N-400 in September... just kind of wished that same day Oath was possible... not that I am in a hurry... but no such luck for me.

Good luck to OP with their interview & Oath & travel.

Just wanted to update you guys, had my interview today, 12:40pm. Got there 12:10 and waited about 30 min. they called me to make sure It was me, and then waited another 45 min. before i got to the actual interview. it went by pretty quick, less than 10min.

passed the grammar and civic questions,

they werent having same day ceremonies, the next one was on the 13th? but it was full...the next on the 20th, We are flying to Peru on the 19th. So, they ended up giving me a stamp on my peruvian passport good for one year.

Thanks for all the info.
