My medical is booked for Friday morning. My NVC case status still says 'at NVC' so hopefully the London consulate will receive the application and medical results at around the same time. Do u think this is ok? Also when shall I complete the DS-160 online form and the form to let them know i am ready for interview and I have everything in hand?

I have noticed that all the cases around mine at NVC apart from the 1 above mine (change last number like at USCIS) say 'READY' and none say 'IN TRANSIT'. All where received on the 9th as well.

They need a London case number. Starts with LND2013#######

I would give the knightsbridge people a call, and tell them that you havent got your case number yet, but would it be possible to get the medical now, and for them to hold on to it until you get you LND number.

A five minute phonecall should solve your problem hopefully. They are normally pretty helpful!

K1 AOS:

May 22nd: Sent away AOS package Day 1

May 27th: Notification via text/email confirming receiving package. Day 5

May 29th: NOA's recieved on 29th May Day 7

June 2nd: Biometrics appointment for June 16th arrives. Day 11

June 16th: Successful Biometrics. Day 24

the duration of the visa, after visa issuance

is tied to the medical exam date.

You'll get about 6 months after the medical date,

so if that works for you, to have less than 6 months after visa issuance to immigrate into the USA, great !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I would still call them up, and explain your situation, and ask them to hold your results, until you call them to give them the go ahead. Although the office sounds like a big huge set up from what people post, the actual place is quite a small set up. I lost a sheet they gave me and I emailed them, and they sent it within ten minutes. So even if you want to email them, I wouldn't see the harm.

I have my case number. It just says on CEAC site that my case is 'at NVC'.

Call NVC tomorrow and speak to a person and ask if your case has left and when. (holiday today). Alternately call DOS and ask if they have any indication of where you case is.

Go to your medical Friday without calling or emailing. Just go. It will be mid next week before it is off to the embassy anyway. At this point don't worry about it. Maybe a bit early, but changing your appointment, etc isn't worth it. Keep calm and carry on.

Meanwhile, as the London guide says, wait until you have confirmed the case is in London before doing the I-160 and the rest of it.
