Forgot to make a copy of my K1 documents

Hello,

I forgot to make a copy of my K1 forms before sending it but I do have originals as we printed each form twice and signed it just in case the first one gets lost in the mail and we wanted to save time since I live in the US and my Fiancé in London. Does it really matter to have a copy of the forms and how can I go about doing that if it's mandatory.

The extra copies are for you. Not mandatory. Nothing you can do about it now. Doesn't affect anything just nice to have if they lose your petition or you wanted to review some things.

If you have all the forms and documentation that you sent, then no worries. You can always make copies should you need them. It is just a good idea to have copies, in case any documents get lost and do not reach your file. Also, the copies would have been to provide the foreign fiance(e) with everything that was included in the I-129F petition so they know everything that was written and attached.
