Consulate Review: London, United Kingdom
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 11, 2014
Embassy Review : My Fiancé arrived very early to the consult where he was the only one in line. He was checked and directed to gentleman who asked him for birth certificate, police clearance and Affidavit of Support. He provided the paper work and returned back to his seat. Few minutes later, he was called for the initial interview with a nice lady who asked him few questions such us: where we met, have he ever traveled to the US, if I have any kids, Where we will be living in the States, and if he ever applied for any other type of Visa for USA? He answered all her questioned and even asked if she would like to see pictures of our engagement. She was very pleasant and commented " nice comment" on the pics. She told him that she recommend him for approval and he asked again so she said you are approved and you visa will be ready in 2 weeks for pick up . I checked the case status that same day and it said " Ready" updated on 06/09.I would say it's a long process but it's worth it. Best of luck to everyone.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
