Regarding police clearance certificate

Hello,

I have got a question regarding police clearance.# Please somebody help.#

I was recently approved (IR/CR-1 visa) from USCIS and waiting for NVC case number. But when I went through some posts, I read that police clearance from all the countries that the applicant(beneficiary) resided is a must.#

My story is a little complicated as I was born in Saudi and when I was 5, I moved to India, stayed there until 2007.

Then moved to UK for studies and stayed there until 2010, then back to India.

After that, from 2012 until now I am residing in UAE.

Can someone kindly update me whether I need to get Police Clearance Cert from India and UK too, besides UAE (current residence)??!

My understanding is you must provide police clearances from all countries you have resided in for over 6 months time since the age of 16 years. This is true for Philippines as far as I can remember. Is it true for your neck of the woods I cannot guarantee. So where are you a citizen of ??

Dear BASA,

Thank you so much for the info and thanks for helping me.

I am 28 now. Can I still apply for both UK and Indian Police clearance before getting UAE certificate?. How long is the validity for Indian certficate?
