Thank you for the clarification! I was gonna say that my fiance (a US citizen) just copied a double-sided sheet of paper, and said that it was one and only birth certificate he had (unlike mine, which has a hard cover and several pages in it). So, I was wondering if may be he was not paying attention or I better ask his mother for a "full" version of it in case we get the RFE

04/14/2012 - I129-F sent out

04/20/2012 - NOA1 receipt date

04/24/2012 - NOA1 (email/text) received

04/27/2012 - NOA1 hard copy

10/15/2012 - NOA2 receipt date

10/16/2012 - NOA2 (email/text) received

My fiance just got the RFE but it's not belong to our case, he called the USCIS and told them and the person who spoke to him asked him to send the RFE back. Will the USCIS send us the correct RFE?. We don't want to wait any longer. And he waited more than 40 minutes on call just to talk to someone in the USCIS. It's the longest wait on call i ever known. What a bad service they have.

I sent out my I129F ending of January. This week on July 10th I received an email and text message, that my status has been updated. Once I checked, I noticed is for an RFE. I freaked out and the waiting for the actual noticeade me anxious. So today, I open my mailbox and I received a blue letter describing what they need of me. Thankfully, I didn't have to wait long and I guess I forgot to fill in Question 2 on on the form about ... Have you ever been convicted. I am relieved that was the only issue, but at the same time it was careless of me. I advise everyone to triple check your application and have someone else proofread.

Wow... my case almost at the same time, my fiance sent the I129F and got the NOA1 on January 20, 2012 and on June 21, 2012 he got RFE. I suggested my fiance to do the RFE together when he is online but it was nagging for him and he wanted to do it himself. I don't want to get denial nor second RFE.

Sometimes it's something really simple. Perhaps a missed question and sometimes they actually want more proof. RFE can make or break your goal to be with your fiancé. Thankfully, I had skipped a question. I should've had someone look it over. Today I am sending everything they need and probably be closer on track as if I didn't receive the RFE.

My fiance sent the papers that they asked yesterday, we are moving almost the same time again. I hope it moves fastly. Let's keep our fingers cross. Where is your fiance?.

Not an RFE but it was sent back to my fiance. He forgot to sign on page. We double checked but somehow missed it. So triple check everything twice!lol

Hi!

I just have a quick question..me and my fiance just sent our K1 I-129F, are they going to notify us that they have received it? and if they received it, are we still going to wait for another notification that it has been approved?

Im sorry, I just wanted to know. I am just new to this.

Thank you,

Carol

Thanks,

Jason & CaroL

You are going to receive a notification that they've received it in about a week or so. The notification will have your case number. You can check your case status online with that number and check for any updates. It's a lot of waiting , so be patient. Your second notification will be in a few months. Some people can get an RFE which is what I got. You never want to get that, it's request for more evidence and your case is on hold until you send them what they ask for. You just want a second notification that your case is approved .
