Still no email with G1145

Hello everyone!

On December 23 2013 we sent our paperwork for K1 visa and the next day they received them. But we havent get any email yet or something. We had attached the G1145 form on top..

And how long do u think will take the whole process? We have not previous marriages or kids and i havent overstay in US. We really dont have money to travel back and forth to see each other so we just hope it wont take longer than 3 months. On the immigration office they told us 3-5 months.

Hi Newbie, i also live in fl' but as i am experiencing that same topic, it took only two months for it to get approved, then another month to process the papers to get other end, which is Morocco, then they sent a copy of case number' and your EAC receipt no. , few weeks after , they ask you to apply the none immigrant visa application which is on line, if you do that right away, you get the interview in few weeks, depends on what country and how long is the time frame' Total of mine, for we took forever to answer all the requirements', to be process...five months from day we sent the papers.. You meant sent in your k1 petition correct? you just sent it in. with the holidays and all, expect the response to be a little slower. wait this coming week, you will probably hear something. the normal processing time for petition adjudication is 5 months. I know you have probably read couples being approved in a few days/months, but DO NOT base your expectations on them. The speed of approvals can change at any time and you will only get disappointed. For me, the whole process took about 4 months more or less, without any blunders or problems whatsoever. Good luck

I worry soooo much.. I think i ll have a heartattack at the end! And the worst part is i havent seen my fiance since august, he applied for citizenship and we had to wait to become a citizen to apply for my k1.

We really cant spent money now to see each other! We just hope on a miracle that the whole preocess wont take long..

Keep yourself busy so you won't stress out about it TOO much. The whole process will really test your patience. I know how hard it is being apart from a loved one but there's really nothing you can do to speed things up so why drive yourself nuts? You will definitely learn what the word "waiting" means. Good luck on your journey! I hope you get as lucky as other couples who got approved in 2 months or less.

Our petition was approved quickly (filed in July and approved in October), however, the Athens embassy didn't have any appointments available until the end of January. Hopefully they will have something a little closer for you guys once you're approved. Good luck!

Im driving myself crazy... And that means i drive my fiance crazy too!! I really wonder why he doesnt kill me! Hihi

Ohhh well i dont think we ll be lucky cause i havent even receive an email since the day we sent the papers on the december 23

We called today and they told us to wait till january 24. They cant help us if we havent a case number. They havent cash out the money so i really dont know if it is good or bad.
