I had opened a thread earlier about my confusion regarding receiving an online update about my permanent resident status.

It is now confirmed. I made a phone call and the USCIS person confirmed that my status has now been registered as a permanent resident and that I will be receiving my green card within 60 days.

On December 13th they sent me a notice of potential interview waiver letter and yesterday on Dec 23rd- my online status changed to let me know that my green card is arriving.

Just a wonderful feeling because I was preparing to dig in for the long haul--6 to 8 months of waiting post the waiver notice.

A great gift for me and my family just in time for Christmas.
