JK Rowling updated her site to announce the last Harry Potter book title, and it will be "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". I can't wait to be announced when the book comes out. :D

Yes, I'm an adult, I love the books, and that's how I met my husband. :D

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows".

Is that the best she can do? Bloody hell. Let's hope she keeps it short and sweet this time. The last two books have been ridiculously long. It is almost like the publishers no longer have the guts to tell her to cut the damn things down by 300 pages each.

I love the Harry Potter books! Our school can't keep them on the shelves long and they've become so worn out from the kids reading them so much (one kid reads them over and over on a regular basis)

One school here in GA (Gwinnett County) has a parent trying her damnedest to have Harry Potter banned from the school libraries. *SIGH* She's lost her last two appeals but she isn't giving up....she plans to go as far as she can to get them banned. I guess the next thing she'll go after is the LOTR books.

Ov Vey.

Karen, it's so stupid to ban Potter books, really, I don't see how Potter can be any worse than any Disney witch story. You don't see people banning those.

Mags, I think the title will be appropriate once the book's out. I agree that the last book was long and seemed to stall a lot, but I still like the series as a whole, obviously. :D

I still read them of course! I don't hate them. But I think the best of the series was the third book. Perfect length and it managed to rack up the tension perfectly. She could have achieved the same with the other, more longer, books had she just cut them down a tad. Just my opinion though! :D

When the new one comes out I'll read it of course. I'd LOVE it if she had the guts to kill off Harry though. I'd REALLY admire her then.

The longer the better IMO, more to read!

Yup, I totally agree Jenn!!! I am always sad to get to the end of a book, even though I tear through it as fast as I can!!

I love the Harry Potter series, probably more than my kids!! I can't wait for the new book!! Any idea how soon it will be published?

She had an interview recently and she mentioned something to that effect. She doesn't want another writer to pick up the Harry series.

As far as the next movie, Emma Watson decided not to play Hermione! That makes me a sad panda! But at least my Ron is still there!
