Got a letter from US Embassy Manila :)

Got a letter today from US Embassy Manila , I think it's an instruction letter with my fiancé's I-129F attached to the letter with "Approved" stamp. I cancelled my interview last month because of this sputum thing, hoping that everything will be alright. I still need to fill up DS-160 though :D, I'll do that after I get my result from St. Luke's in January 20. And also my approved petition will expire in January 17, but I think they will just extend my petition without my DS-160.

Good luck to those who are still waiting. :)

Yes the embassy will extend the petition, no issue there.

You are one of the "rare ones" to have gotten your letter from the embassy, as you see it has little if any information of value.

Yes, your petition will be extended. The Embassy knows that you are in the process.

A friend of mine just recently went through the K-1 visa process with his fiancée. His fiancée in the Philippines received the Embassy instruction letter after her Embassy interview. My friend received the instruction letter about a week later. Chinook and I are still waiting for our instruction letter.

Good luck with the TB culture!

So, what was inside the envelope ?

A letter stating that my case is eligible to be scheduled for a visa interview and must pay the k visa app fee, how to schedule, a copy of I129f with approved stamp, a guide about Legal Rights. I've already scheduled but I cancelled because of sputum thing.

Thanks everyone. Btw do I need to get a new cenomar and NBI ? I got them in October.

Thank you smile.png

If they well be less than 6 months old at interview time you should be fine, otherwise get new.
