Hi All -

Today we received our notice that the EAD and Travel Authorization was approved however at the same time our Interview was canceled. This seems a bit strange to me. When I checked the online status it states: "On December 18, 2013, we sent you a notice that the interview scheduled for your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was canceled by USCIS. If you have not received the notice within 30 days of the date above, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance."Has anyone experienced this recently? I did locate some old threads back in 2008 that seemed to be a technical issue. I'm wondering if this means we wont have to do an interview or perhaps we are going to have to wait even longer to get my wife's temporary (2yr) green card.

Any advice you folks have would be great.

Thanks,

-V

Ugh. I believe the last item I read was it was better to show up anyway. Rather be present for a non-interview than absent for a that was cancelled in error.

Good luck

The above poster is correct, better to show up for an non-interview than to not show up for a cancelled interview.
