Hello there!!!

I am confused, our visa application approved last October 18, 2013, we received our NOA2 last November 18, 2013 with our case #. I am done with my DS 160 online application but until now I haven't received any letter/ instruction from the embassy. I am wondering if anyone else has gone through this. Could I schedule my interview even without the letter from the embassy?

Thank you,,

As far as I read regarding fellows Vjers from the Philippines that they don't need a letter from embassy to completed K-1 visa application. Go find Vjer named Hank. He has a link "what you should do after got NOA-2". Good luck!

As soon as you have your MNL number, you can pay the visa fee, schedule your interview online and do your medical. Don't wait for that letter. I already have my visa and I haven't received that letter until now. Everyone here will tell you that letter almost never arrives. If it does, there's a huge chance you're already in the States when it arrives.

I second what @iammrsregi said... no need to wait for that letter. Like her, I already got my visa approved and I still don't have that letter... Follow Hank's guide. Also, do hurry in booking your interview. Slots for April are almost gone... Good luck!

... and odds are you will NEVER receive a letter from the embassy, PhilPost isn't known for delivering the mail... wink.png

You do not need to wait for the letter that never arrives (sorry to read you have been sitting and waiting) - it only gives you a link to the embassy instructions letter that is online.

Follow the flashing arrow below this post.

(oh ya, I have read slots have been opening up as early as January again  )
