Does anyone know about this online (Choice of agent) option ?

DS-261. can be anyone you want it to be. Most choose the US citizen. It really is a moot point because noth parties (Petitioner and Beneficiary get emails when you tell NVC them). Some who have lawyers the lawyer will get all the emails. Some who are out the country have a 3rd party (family member) So its your choice. All it means is who do you want corresppondence to go to. Since you all get it (if you give NVC your emails) it really doesn't matter.

From now on your VJ Member name will be verified. If the name you put on form to be added to spreadsheet comes up not found, you will not be added to the spreadsheet. If you don't have a timeline you will not be added to the spreadsheet.

This site has online option and i haven't heard anybody talking about this online. I know about DS 3032 (choice of Agent) and we could email or post it by mail. But i guess doing by online with DS 261 is way faster than email and postal service.

There is no more DS-3032. DS-261 took care of that. Also no DS-230 DS-260 took theplace of that. Its been talked about plenty.

Have you even called NVC to see if your petition has arrved and get a case# assigned yet.

Its been a month and they didn't get it yet. Called USCIS today and they made the inquiry with NVC and gave me the confirmation number.

Yes unfortuantely its been taking 8 weeks for many just to get to NVC with another 2 to 4 weeks for case#. In the meantime do read the post and follow that thread. NVC always forever changing.

WOW after One and half month, i found out that my petition has not been shipped to NVC. so much awesome job USCIS and NVC doing.

You can'r blame NVC the service centers are taking 8 weeks and sometimes lonbger to send petitions.

Just read those post. The CEAC website will not tell you anything until you are at NVC and have a case#. Really doesn't do anything until you have case complete and interview date than the tracking really starts.
