Hello visa journey users. I hope any one can share their experience about bringing their mom to visit in the US and I really need your best advice. I highly appreciate it.

I am a 10 yrs green card holder here in the US. I want my mother to see what US looks like and I want her to experience how life goes here in America. My goal is I want her to come to America but before that she have to undergo paper works, get the visa and stuff. My mother is working as a House keeper and she work live in, she doesn't own a house, cars or any property. She have bank account and she receives money monthly from my late father pension for serving the country. My mother doesn't have a plan staying here with me, she just want to go back and forth when she wanted. Do you think US embassy will grant her a tourist visa? Thank you for taking time to read my message. God bless us.

You cannot petition for your mother for an immigrant visa until you are a citizen. Her only option is to apply for a visitor visa and be approved on her own merits. She must show she has very strong ties to her country such as owning a home, and having a full time job to,go,back to. Having her daughter here actually works against her. She needs to prove she is coming here for tourism., not coming to see if she wants to eventually live. The chances of her being approved with only a job as a housekeeper and nothing else, the chances are very low she will get a visitor visa. But it doesn't hurt to try.

What the last post says. Without strong ties, owns a home, owns a business, and has letters from company saying she will have the job and salary after her trip it is very very difficult to get the visitor visa.
