Obtaining Police Certificate for Mexican Beneficiary

Hi Everyone!

I am new to VJ, and hope I am doing this right.

My fiance is in Mexico. What is the process to get a police certificate there? He is from a very small community in the southern state of Oaxaca where he has lived all of his life. Where does he go to get his police certificate? To the nearest police station or to the capital of the state?

Try the Secretaria de Seguridad Publica/General de Justicia del Estado de Oaxaca to get a Carta/Certificado de No Antecedentes Penales.

Kay, I looked through the link, but of course had to have Google translate help and am not sure if I fully understood. Does my fiance have to go through the state capital to get the police certificate? Or does he go through his local (city) government?

Hello, I just took a look from your profile to see if you had any other concerns. I had the same from my fiance, she just whent to the local presidencia, not the state
