The point of this topic is that mainstream Democrats such as Nanci Pelosi, Chuck Rangel, and the ever nonsensical Kerry engage in this kind of behavior. That's simply dangerous.

Well, I constantly read on this board that Rush represents America and has millions of listeners. He certainly is more to do with the conservative movement that someone on the View respresents the left.

Pelosi has characterized the President of the United States as "dangerous" and "stupid", and a "liar"......Kerry said time and agian that the President Of the Untited States is a "liar".

Rush may have a following but he's not representative of the mainstream conservative point of view.

Unfortunately for your argument, the criticism of the Bush administration comes from 68% of the American population (if we are to believe the opinion polls). I think you're badly in the minority if you think George W. Bush is a figure who will be historically admired...

It's interesting how quickly these people become "liberals" as soon as they challenge the Bush/Rove/Hannity orthodoxy

It's also interesting how any time the leading Republican candidate for '08, John McCain, opposes Bush policy (as with his opposition to contravening the Geneva Convention) the whispering campaign about him being "mentally unstable as a POW" kicks into gear by people who appear on Fox News.
