Is there anyone who can help me how to retrieve my old ds-160? I was applying for b1 before and I got denied and now me and my boyfriend have plan to get fiancee visa but the lawyer asking me about the D's -160 where in she can check why I got denied.

I appreciate all effort. Thank you

This should serve to indicate the worth of using a lawyer. The lawyer should know why you were denied and in fact that the denial will have nothing to do with the outcome of a K 1.

You got denied because all people with any type of visa are considered intending immigrants. You couldn't offset that concept with evidence so you were denied.

I guess I have a dumb question. What on the DS-160 does your lawyer think will tell them why you are denied?

And why don't you know what you filled out? i mean look over the form you can't recreate what you filled in at the time?

Were you completely honest and accurate with the info you put in the DS160? If yes, then there's nothing to worry. Getting a B1/B2 visa in the Philippines is really hard and majority gets denied because of lack of strong ties.

A B1/B2 visa denial does not have a negative impact on a K1 (or other immigrant) visa application. Unless you misrepresented yourself on the DS160 form (ex: lying).

Do you have any copy of your answers? I wanted to have mine. Because I'm going to apply for k1 visa dear.

Sir Im going to apply for k1 and I got denied for b1. I wanted to be sure that what I wrote in my b1 is exactly what I'm going to write in k1.so I am looking for the site where I can get all my papers answers in that questionnaires. I mean I wanted to have a printed copy of my answer sheet aside from the confirmation page.thank you

They were asking why you need a copy to know what you answered. Why can you not remember what answers you gave to the questions just by looking over the form questions? If you answered truthfully when you filled it out for the tourist visa, and you answer truthfully when you fill it out for the K-1, then all should match and be fine.

If you were denied a tourist visa for not proving ties to your home country so the CO had doubt you would be returning home and not overstaying your visa, then there is no affect on the K-1 application. That would be a non-issue. If you were denied for misrepresentation, then you have issues.
