Hi, my husband filed an i-130 for me and my son on Sept 2013, he got the approval notice on October 16, 2013. He was informed, he'll receive a notification from the NVC within 30 days. However, its been over 4 weeks now and we haven't heard anything from them yet :( our priority date is Sept 6, 2013 under f2a category.. According to visa bulletin F2a PD is 09/08/2013. But the notes under it, made me so confused and worried. Are we current or not? (*NOTE: For December, F2A numbers EXEMPT from per-country limit are available to applicants from all countries with priority dates earlier than 01SEP13. F2A numbers SUBJECT to per-country limit are available to applicants chargeable to all countries EXCEPT MEXICO with priority dates beginning 01SEP13 and earlier than 08SEP13. (All F2A numbers provided for MEXICO are exempt from the per-country limit; there are no F2A numbers for MEXICO subject to per-country limit.) Please let me know if we are current or not? Your answer will be very much appreciated. Thank you and God Bless!

best to have spouse in the USA contact USCIS and ask if the casefile was sent on to NVC or sent to NRC for storage. Once you have that answer, report back.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I am assuming that the Beneficiary is from Phillipines and the date on NOA1 is Sep 6th 2013. If that is true then your PD is Sep6th 2013 and it is current for you as per VB.
