Hello!

I am very excited because my fiance's visa packet finally arrived, BUT there is a small tear on the side from the rubberband that they used to hold the passport to it during shipment. Does anyone have experience or thoughts about what might happen at the POE with the immigration officer? When we book his flight (probably tomorrow) I will know the POE, and maybe I can call them to see if this is normal. But I'd like to know if anyone has had this problem, and if so, how did the immigration officer handle it. Thanks so much! :)

The DO NOT OPEN mark on the envelope is there so that they can be sure that you didn't tamper with the paperwork inside. A torn envelope can be evidence that something was added/taken out. A small tear is not.
