Just a quick question to all senior members.My petitioner received I797 hard copy approval notice having issue date 2/11/2014 one day ago. We both are quite stunned as I am in AP since last 10 months..Can any1 elaborate or diagnose the situation here.

Priority Date. Current

Interview date 4/17/2013.

You should email the embassy asap and inquire...also call NVC...i just chkd ur timeline...i m confused to see why did u send I-130 after 2.5 yrs of marraige...sorry its personal i know...but if u dont mind sharing...

Well i think sending u I 797 at this stage is a mistake by embassy...

I would suggest wait 10 more days becuase there website clearly says email us after 60 days... And to inquiry for visa goto islamabad consulate website they have inquiry link click on that...

After my interview i had 4 updates in a week, then there was no update after being in 5 months on AP, Finally got two updates first one was

the day before yesterday & second one was today. so now we are distracted these updates were probably made due to the passport request

or these are the normal updates. two weeks before my wife who is the petitioner emailed the embassy asked for passport to have it renewed

also asked for case status. as usual we got the same copy and past message which everyone receives. my question is do you guys think these

updates were made because of passport requests or they are currently working on my case any idea please share.

hi mohsin .. i know a girl here.. at the time of interview CO kept her passport and birth certificate ..she was in AP for 6 months after 6 months she emailed them and request them to send her birth certificate back. after her mail they update her case 2 times and then issued....

We've been getting updates every week since october(no updates from 12 dec to 4 jan) and our last update was on 18th feb.We're still in A.P.So AP isnt very predictable!
