Hello there and thanks in advance to whomever can answer my question. Im gathering all necessary documents to send to fiancee since our petition has been approved and sent to Consulate in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. I have been employed with same employer for 7 years 8 months now, I currently make $37,000 a year as a mangaer; I have letter from employer certifying it and also copies of last four recent pay stubs.

Question now is, my banking account/statement isnt looking too pretty as I only have under $1,500 combined from checking and savings account. I recently had to make an unexpected and expensive withdrawal. That being said, will I be okay without sending banking information, and only sending employer letter, pay stub, and W2 of last year?

Thank You for your time- Brandon

You don't have to show how much money you have in the bank - that's not important. Your current income is what matters.

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

11/09/2013 - I-129F Packet mailed to Dallas Lockbox                                                                                         06/22/2015 - AOS packet mailed to Chicago Lockbox

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

06/19/2015 - Wedding (L)

The ROC journey:

10/12/2017 - ROC packet mailed to VSC

01/21/2019 - ROC Approved - there was no interview

The N-400 journey:

02/16/2020 - N-400 application filed online

02/21/2020 - Paper NOA received in the mail

03/13/2020 - Biometrics

02/02/2021 - Interview & test - Approved

If you meet the income requirement, then no need to list assets or provide bank statements. Leave the whole assets section of the I-134 blank. Include the letter from employer and most recent pay stub(s) along with a complete copy(all forms, schedules, W-2s) of your most recent tax return or IRS tax transcript.
