I submitted my I-131 AP along with my I-765 EAD and I-485 back in September and had my Biometrics appointment in early October. I am concerned however that my AP will not come in time for me to visit my children back in England before Christmas. I have been notified that my Interview will be scheduled shortly, but does anyone know whether you have to have that before an AP is given?

I was hoping after the Biometrics that the AP and EAD would be issued, but I have received nothing so far.....

Can anyone tell me how long after the Biometrics these should be received? Also is the AP something that you attach to your passport?

Any help would be appreciated.

AP / EADs must be issued within 90 days of application under the C-9 category, with the median seeming to be around 70 - 80 days. You might receive your AP before Xmas, but it's by no means certain, nor should you depend upon doing so.

Thanks for the replies..

I submitted all my forms on September 4th, so from what your saying above I should receive the AP / EAD within 90 days from then is that correct? If so, I guess I should receive them around early December (fingers crossed).

What happens after the 90 days has elapsed and they are still not received - should I go to my nearest USCIS office or call them?

No, I have not received an Interview date yet, although I have been advised that it is due for scheduling.

Appreciate your assistance.
