Good Luck on your journey! Maybe I missed it on your list, but you did not mention passport pictures for both the petitioner and beneficiary. Monday is a holiday by the way so you might be sending it on Tuesday. I am also sending mine the same day BTW.

Completed form G325-A Signed by me the petitioner (name) with attached signed passport-style photo

Completed form G325-A Signed by wife (name) with attached signed passport-style photo

We attached our passport pictures to our corresponding G325-A forms! smile.png 2 Pictures for me (the beneficiary) 1 for Hubby (petitioner)

Monday isn't a holiday here in Ireland so hopefully no delays in delivery.

Yay, we'll hopefully get our dates around the same time!! You're the only November 2013 filer i've talked to! Good luck to the both of you!!

I have attached a picture of how we assembled our packet! Hopefully it's helpful to someone else!

We are starting to accept the fact that he will not be here for her birth. I'm sorry you had to have her alone. I'm preparing myself for the same. Many blessings sent your way. quote name="allyinchicago" post="6639808" timestamp="1384134660"]

In normal situation no, only beneficiary has the interview abroad. But I remember reading somewhere, that either DR or Jamaica needs the petitioner as well present at the consulate. Not sure if it is for K-1 or IR-1 visa. Start a separate thread or check DR or Jamaica forum.

Thank you. Unfortunately I went the K1 route and we were denied due to "lack of evidence" so we got married and I am trying this route. I am just ready for it to be over alreadysleepy.gif

Thank you for that.

Just to be sure - I done a quick search on the proof of domicile

As you are aware my husband has been living abroad for 1.5 years - He still has his car back home at his mothers house, registered in his name, and when we were on vacation there last month he took some money out of his bank account. Also, we have been looking at apartments online.

Would this be enough? If we printed out some quotes from agencies maybe?

Hi Teacup and good luck to you both.

I'm an April filer and still waiting for the NOA2. Our case is also similar to yours since I did not want to be away from my wife and chose to live with her in Turkey now (Before we were in her country of origin, Belarus).

I am the USC and truthfully I do not have a car or house or anything like that back home... Just my old checking account and my almost expired drivers license. :)

I started a topic as well and I will let you know if I hear anything. Hopefully my NOA2 would come anytime soon.. Fingers crossed. :)

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I'm getting flashbacks to when my wife and I filed 'all of this' - exciting times!

As for the G325A pictures it's generally a good idea to put them in a small ziplock bag each, with each corresponding name on the ziplock. I can't tell from the picture if you've done that. It's not a biggie, just some advise from a perfectionist ;-)

My husband doesn't have a house of his own back in the US but has paid a significant amount towards his mothers house in rent, unfortunately his name is not actually on the house if he needed proof of this I'm sure the bank could confirm it with checks he has paid to her. He does still have his car there but his drivers licence is expired. He still has his bank acc too.

We filed our I-130 today so hopefully they get it soon so we can get this process rolling!!

Goodluck to you and your wife! I hope it all works out for you guys!

No problem yang-ja! I must have checked those papers a million times! Making sure everything was in the right order, copys were ok, etc!

We did use zip lock bags! You can't see it in the pictures because I blurred some stuff, we followed the VJ checklist religiously! lol

We officially mailed it today using express post so now we start the waiting game! *yay* mellow.png

Thank you for all this information. It helps me also. If you were married for over 2 yrs, in my case 8yrs (and we have 4kids) together do we really need all these photos? And evidence of relationship? Isn't being together 8yrs enough?

Being married for 8 years and having 4 kids is great evidence. I would still include photos taken during that 8 year time span.

You should print maybe 30-40 pictures over the 8 years together - from different places you have been together. Vacations, Theme parks, holidays with other family members etc.

With the pictures I printed I wrote time, date and discription on back of each photo.
