Clearly I wasn't the only one thinking it...

As for the debate, you may have noticed that I was participating in it prior to Mark's wild rant, by replying to Gary's post. Quite reasonably I thought...

yes, you were reasonable to gary. guess you got it all outta your system with me :P

There are two arguments happening simutaneously. One is how to win the war militarily and the other is how to resolve the war politically. I don;t think you can have both. Politics will trump military victory

tell that to the mayor of hiroshima ;)

I never expected the, cant we all just get along, the government owes me a life, self pittying crowd to understand. Their inability to realize how valuable freedom really is. Now go pick some flowers and carve peace signs on your favorite tree, Oh and that glue some of you have been sniffin is very bad for you!

The biggest worry I have about the increase of 25,000 troops is that in all likelihood, it doesn't mean 25,000 rested, fresh-scrubbed, new recruits, but keeping guys who are several tours of duty in staying longer.

I've actually sproken with the Mayor of Hiroshima. Gave me a lovely tapestry of Genbaku dome which is hanging on my wall.

I'd think he'd agree with me- your view is too simplistic.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

"Their inability to realize how valuable freedom is." is not a sentence. But if your case is rested, ok then.

Charles, Keep it simple!

Talking of SIMPLE once again, nice pics on your signature CarolsMarc, I especially like how they are so tiny and insignificant. You really have to look for them when we look at your posts. I'm not offended at all by them, especially the one of you giving the finger to everyone....

It really makes me want to try and have an intellectual debate with you when I look at those............
