Hey guys! Sorry i've been asking so many questions haha

I've been a bit confused with peoples timelines, are people writing in their dates that they actually SENT the I-192f in the mail, or the date that it was delivered (like, confirmed by USPS etc) ?? because some seem like they're getting their NOA really fast xD

We sent ours on 30th October, and USPS says it was delivered on the 1st November. No NOA1 yet, by email or text. I'm asking this because it seems like some peoples timelines say they sent it off and like 3 or so days later they are getting their confirmation? that seems really quick like...as if they are getting a e-notification the day it's delivered or something?

i guess i am just really anxious to hear something. i will be very relieved once we have our first confirmation so that i actually know our application is in the system and beginning the process. right now i'm being silly worrying we made a mistake or forgot to sign something haha

since Nov 1st was a friday, is there a chance it's just been sitting in their office or something over the weekend? do they work on saturday and sunday? i'm really interested in knowing this! :P

anyways sorry for worrying! was just wondering! fingers crossed we get our email today, or by friday at least...but hopefully today!! we're so excited (well, i'm nervous too...but mostly excited) !! :P

thanks !

People put both in their timelines. You're talking two days difference. In the world of immigration that is nothing. Two weeks difference is same date as far as they are concerned. Don't fret over hours and days. You can't pin your hopes on anybody's timeline because there are too many variables. If you forgot something, you get to fix it. Nothing you can do right now. It's a process and you too will get through it...but how long is always a mystery.

I double Nich-Nick's post. Don't worry - you will hear something from them soon. It's been less than a week. The weekend is probably one explanation for why you haven't heard anything yet. I know the whole procedure is nerve-wrecking, but you really need to learn not to stress about things you have no control over during this process. Give it some more time. You will be fine.

The NOA1 date should be the date you get the official email or text from USCIS saying they received your petition and they assign you a case number. And yes some people get it very fast. I got mine 5 days after they received it.

And here's an example why timelines have inconsistencies. When it says "Date Sent", I always put the date I dropped it in the mail box. That's just the way I interpret it. That's why I said people do both ways. Timelines are based on human input we can put anything we want as a date. Some even put a sent date later than NOA 1 because they made a typo. Or they are British and put 01/07/2013 for July 1 because that is their habit.
