If you send your documents to Embassy with a AR registered mail to the post office then post office will return back to you the advice reciept. Indicated in the form you send to the embassy. All you need to do is to wait for the email.

@audacieux89 I just received an email from them yesterday regarding my interview date n documents I need to bring on that day.  I've had my medical exam scheduled next week at Fullerton healthcare which is I think okay since it has to be atleast two weeks prior to the interview date. Do you know how much would it cost for the medical exam? I've had all the vaccinations needed so far since I work in a hospital.

My medical exam cost me S$589 it included Xray (35), urine tests (135), and 3 vaccinations (flu-35, DPT-75, and MMR-75).

If you've had the vaccinations, don't forget to bring your record with you.

If you have never had a history of Chickenpox, they will ask you to have a vaccine for it too (this will cost you additional 105). If you had chickenpox before, they will just do a blood test (150) to verify if you need a vaccine or not.

 

Just prepare around 600 for it just in case.

 

If you don't mind me asking, are you Singaporean or another nationality?

I've had MMR, varicella (never had chickenpox so it's required at work), boostrix, hepatitisB and influenza vaccinations. Maybe they wud only ask me to do blood test,X-ray and urine test. I'm a proud Filipino btw 😊

Hello Ladies in Singapore, I'm Posting  from NY City.  I admire the way your group helps each other. We have learned from your Posts.  My lady is also in SG preparing for her interview. We are confused about getting her SG COC.  She is focused on the SPF website  instructions titled:  "Original hard-copy fingerprint impressions (Optional)".  Do those instructions apply to us?  She is a citizen of  PRC in SG on a Work Card.  The wording on the letters she got from the US Embassy (Packet #?) is confusing and I'm not sure she should be relying on the SPF website.  From past VJ Postings I thought the application is done in person but she is telling me she needs digital copies of the documents. Is the SG COC done in person or online?

From my experience, she need the COCs from all the countries she’s been in for the stipulated duration (3 months or longer if I recall right). I’m not sure about CoC from other countries but Sg COC has to be applied in person. For other countries’ COC it all depends on the countries she’s been in and their policies. Some countries like Thai COC can be applied virtually & applicant will receive the original COC via post.

 For non Singaporean citizens, the process is different. She will have to apply for an appeal online to get a COC. Instructions are on the COC website.

One of the requirements for the appeal is a scanned letter from the website requesting the police clearance. When they approve the appeal, they will schedule you for the fingerprinting. She goes on the day of her schedule and get her clearance same day too.

 

Also note that she will only be able to get a coc from Singapore if she has been residing there for 6 months or more. She will also have to get for police clearances in all countries she has resided in for 6 months or more since age 16.

Hi, first of all thanks for all the great information in this topic!

 

My fiancée is also a Filipina living in Singapore. I haven't filed the I129-F, but will soon.

 

Have a question for you all that I already asked here.

 

• Does the "beneficiary mailing address" in the form I129-F matter for delivery of the interview packet from the Singapore Embassy,? Do they send the packet by e-mail, or how does that work?
• In case she moves, how can she change her mailing address in Singapore?

Hello VJ Family!

We are  about to schedule our interview in Singapore. NOA2 dated Nov 2.    The same date  we filed the DS-160 - Dec 24- our CEAC status changed from "Ready"  to "Please contact the U.S. Consular office you believe is responsible for processing your visa application".  It does not sound good at all.  "...you believe is responsible" -like we're confused about what country we're in .  Is this a standard message after a DS160 is filed?  

 

I sent an email inquiry to the  Consulate and got an Auto-Gen acknowledgement. Our USCIS Approval expires on February 2 and NOA2  took 10    months.  Any suggestions or knowledge  anyone can share?
