Hi,

I was wandering is it is possible to be denied because of insufficient tax return?

My fiance graduated in July 2012 so she only had part time jobs unlike now. Since October 2012 she found a stable job and has a yearly salary of 32.000 $.

Her 2012 tax returns show from 900$ to 1000$. Is that enough? How much should it show??

Can our visa be denied during the interview because of insufficient past tax returns even though she is getting paid well and this year's tax returns will show more numbers?

She needs to have a letter from her employer and pay stubs to show as supporting evidence of the Affidavit of Support. Current income matters more than tax returns, so you'll be ok.

By the time you get to an interview it will most likely be 2014 and there will be a newer much better return on top of the pile and a very good reason for the sudden jump in income. Tell her to file her taxes as soon as she can next year

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
