I am a part-time worker 3x a week and have my disability benefit. During the interview my fiancee submitted the my signed form of I-134 along with my ITR 2012, W2 (copy C), form SSA-1099 (SS Benefit Statement 2012) and the statement of my New Benefit Amount for 2012. During the interview 3rd stage; the CO told her that he/she is confused with my income since it's too low. And my fiancee told the CO that I have the SSDI. And the CO asked her about the work of my mom and my dad. After these questions the CO told her that I am will ask 2 documents from your fiance, you may now take your set and wait for your number to be called for further instructions. As her number is called the guy told her that I email to you the instruction and you need to submit this via 2go.

"We are unable to complete the processing of your immigrant visa application under Section 221(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), as amended, until you present the following documents or complete required action from your end:

SS statement and W-2s for 2012"
1. Is the SS statement that they asked in the 221(g) different from my SS Benefit statement that I submitted?
2. If yes, how to obtain this?
3. Why they are asking for the W-2s for 2012, again? Is this different from what I have submitted?
4. How would I know if we will be approved

They haven't returned the passport of my fiancee and they never ask for the letter of intent. Seems they are very much interested with my documentation of affidavit of support.

We need your help.

thank you.

Nope the Benefits Letter your generate from online at SSA is the same thing. BUT! You can write to SSA and get a letter from them also, basically stating the same information to make the CO happy.... and we all know if the CO isn't happy... no one is happy. wink.png

Not sure why they asked for the W-2 again.... seems there are a bunch of new people at the embassy, lots of oops8rh.gif going on lately.

You may want to make a call to the embassy (remember the time difference when calling)
