9/15 Recieved and signed for by "Freeman" at NSC

9/19 NOA1 CSC Recieved

9/25 Notice date Check cashed 9/25

9/28 I Recieved NOA1(I-797C) in the mail

12/5 NOA2 12/6 but Approved on 12/5 touch

12/9 Received NOA2(I-797) by snail mail

12/15 NVC has received it..Case # issued...

12/19 NVC shipped to Romania

12/22 Romanian Embassy has received an email from NVC that my Petition is on it's way...

12/29 Packet 3 sent to Veronica

1/12 2007 Packet 3 received Dang Holidays..

1/22 Sending all paperwork(I-134,Bank/Employer letters etc..,)..to Veronica per DHL, 3.5lbs...$144 WOW!

1/25 Recieved notice that She needs to pick up my packet in Chisinau..

Getting excited I hope. I think Veronica called Ana a few days ago.

Ana has had her visa for a few months now. We are both living in Moldova and travelling a lot.

We are going to be headed to America almost at the same time as Veronica. We have tickets for the beginning of Jan.

Hi

I think she will be headed here in Feb... I need to wait for my tax forms.. So She will have to be alittle slow returning the packets.. I think Sending in the last one around the 31th of Jan. that gives me time to get the W2's run down to H&R Block or some quicky place.. and then notorize it and Overnight it to her.. So I would guess her interview will be around the 15th- 20th of Feb and she will Fly to me around 20-25th or so.. all est, of course..

I did try to plead my case to the Lady in HR at the first place I worked at this year...and of course I got the typical response.. "Oh I don't start those until Jan (Duh) and I said...I know but I was just wondering if I could get mine early in Jan,..and I told her why...and she said Well by law we don't need to send them until Jan 31 (Duh) I told her I knew that...but I was just hoping.. to get it early.. so she sent me a Print out of it..but it's not a W2 (No wonder I looked for a FW :) hahahha )

My tax stuff is causing a 30 day delay I figure... But I was in school last year and no income.. or at least not enough to file.. so I need to use 2006 W2's Oh Well the good thing is ...She will be here.. And the way I cope with this is..I need to get through Xmas...and when it hits Jan 1st Veronica will be here next month :) It's a goal..the end of the rainbow..

Your right... and this is the part of the process that seems to move faster because of all the little things that happen..NVC...Embassy..Packets...Interview date.. it might end up taking as long as the NOA2 did..but I think it will feel faster in away... Or at least I'm telling myself that :)

And yes... the wait for the NOA2 doesn't seem to bad now that I got it...almost like it was a dream... :)

Yeah... it's been so good to see all those approvals, they were ploughing through them at an impressive rate for a while there. Every time they grind to a halt like this (or so it seems, anyway - I know they're probably giving out plenty of NOA2s to people who aren't on VJ even as I'm typing this!) it's frustrating to watch - my hopes that we might just have our NOA2 by mid-January are seeming highly unrealistic at this point!

Maybe they're doing that 'snail-mail only, no touches, no email' thing that was going on a few weeks back, and there will be a lot of happy people in a few days' time! :thumbs:

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

There's been a couple from CSC, both on the 12th, according to the timelines... bit of an anticlimax after the last couple of weeks. I hope you get yours VERY soon! :)

I hope you're right. Even though we already got NOA2, I can't help but to feel for you guys still waiting.

I gave up checking the USCIS website less than a month after getting NOA1...There were all those glitches and people getting approvals by snail mail, that I thought there was no point on checking it.
it might end up taking as long as the NOA2 did..but I think it will feel faster in away... Or at least I'm telling myself that
