K1 Delayed, 221G, need more photos

About 7 month of petition, approval, NVC approval and finaly interview in Ukraine for K1 visa.

Interview result > 221G given due to need more evidence of relationship with photos underlined.

Fiancee said that the photo on file is the only one we have.

Agent did not respond, just said process delayed but not denied. Retained passport at consulate.

What can we do in this situation?

I can travel there and visit my fiancee within few weeks but are there any other alternatives?

what was the number of photos your fiancee attached for the Consulate in Kiev?

We had the same issue after the interview in Laos, because we only took 5 photos to the interview, I was able to print more photos and we were approved within a couple of days.

We can make hundreds of pictures but that would require for me to travel there now in order to provide more. Should we contact consulate and ask for other options?

for sure one almost group photo may not satisfy the Council....cos it seems suspecious have a relations but no common pictures...How much time they gave you for supply of evidences?

My opinion is: if you can travel in a short time and in time frames that Council in Kiev gives you for presenting evidences, i would travel and do photos and if possible assis on the interview or something....

Fiancee said there is one year noted on 221G, but that would for sure expire the petition. I can be there in 2 weeks. I can't imagine 14 days will be too long to provide additional evidence, is it?

Money is not an issue. Time is at premium. That is the only reason I'm not flying to Kiev tomorrow. 2 weeks from now is the soonest possible. I hope it won't be too late to add documents to current interview. Maybe we can even request another one while both of us present.

Maksim, i say this: tell her check on 221G if they say something about the time of giving additional evidences, if they say nothing........than tell her to call consulate and ask directly...and than if they give enough time i suggest you travel for more pictures plus you will see the person you love

good luck with pictures! but tell her to call Kiev Consulate and ask for sure as for 1 year validity (cos it's a bit contradicting as far as some docs for example medical check is valid for few months, so as I-129F approved form is valid for 4 months or so..... if i am not mistaken, so how they can give one year for submitting evidences for K-1 final approval?!) but any way i guess two weeks for sure will be fine for making and submitting pics....and perhaps if time permits maybe you can attend her second interview, and in such way stating your relations are serious....

It'll take minimum 10 day to process additional submitted photos. I hope they don't request additional interview. But if they do - I'll travel again and then we return home together. Thank you for much needed and outstanding support.

How is it possible that you only have one picture together? Sorry but I guess I would also be suspicious. My wife and I brought 100 plus photos to her interview. We had submitted at least 8 pictures with our application. The photos don;t have to be of you and your fiance only...they just need to include the two of you together. I just wonder if the consular officer will now be even more suspisious that you will come to Ukraine to take photos together AFTER she is turned down? Anyways, good luck and God Bless.
