7.2 is huge. I was in Los Angeles California for the 1994 Northridge Quake and that was "only" a 6.8. It is an incredibly frightening experience and the aftershocks are unnerving. Stay strong Bohol/Cebu...

I'm in Ozamiz City on Mindanao and we felt the initial quake and about three after shocks throughout the day. Many of the old churches on Bohol have been destroyed or heavily damaged. Body count is nearing 75. Gods' speed to those who are in need.

Hello folks!! Flew in here to Cebu at 2am, and we were awakened when our condo started violently shaking.....welcome to The Philippines. At first I thought it was a dream, or a violent reaction to my spaghetti and YUM at Jollibees after we left the airport...hahahah. We live on the 5th floor of the 12 story Sentinel Condo building here in Cebu. We ran out of the building hoping it would not fall in on us. We have some damage in our condo and all our pictures and glass vases and objects fell off the walls and shelves. There has been smaller tremors and aftershocks pretty much all day long...it's been scary. We are still waiting to hear from NVC for our case number?? Our NOA2 was August 27th....almost 8 weeks now.PATIENCE Mike, PATIENCE!! Haha. God bless us all.

Yeah I was in Simi Valley during the Northridge quake on the second floor of a 2 store house and it was pretty scary. I am just thankful we missed this quake, having just been in Bohol. I am kind of use to earthquakes having lived in CA most my life but Ema would have freaked out.

Yes that one was intense...it was my first Earthquake and it scared the....out of me. I feel for the people going through this now...the aftershocks are terrifying too. 75 lives lost and the ancient churches that Joan and I visited last year are gone. Nature can be so cruel at times...

I am saddened for what had happened in Bohol and Cebu City. My heart broked into million pieces and made me cried watching TV news seeing those people suffering in terrible pain lying helpless in their make shift tent hospital on the roads and lots of people running out of food and water. Hundred plus people now declared dead and 25 still missing and two hundred plus are injured :-(

One of the Church in Dauis in Bohol where my fiance Steve and I went been flashed in the news, shows heavily damages. And some of the roads shown in TV that was badly damages are the places where we had our motorbike ride to tour all over Tagbilaran city down to Baclayon Church and the rest of the nearby towns.

Most people sure praying for their speedy recovery..

Saying goes, "After The Clouds, The Sun will Shine"

To all my countrymen in Bohol / Cebu:

Just Dont lose HOPE...in time, everything will be fine..
