My friend is filling I 864. but he lives in New york.

his income is not enough so he is getting help from his parents.(sponser)

His parents live in Florida.

so which form should his FATHER fill?

and which form should his MOTHER fill?

If parents filled jointly one will fill out the I-864 (I assume he is using the dad). And mom can fill out the I-864A since her income won;t be considered. Your friend also fills out his own I-864.

ok. but he is using both income, father and mother. only father income is not sufficient.

Yes, you need I-864 and as well as I-864A for mother. When you submit your I-864 Packet you will attached both together.

One of the parents fills the I-864 as a joint sponsor. The other parent fills the I-864A as a household member of the joint sponsor.
