It is $1070 total to file the forms to adjust status. This includes the advance parole and employment authorization at no additional cost. You may have to have a civil surgeon transcribe your vaccination records and/or receive additional immunizations after you arrive. This would be an additional cost.

I would like to have some info regarding the fees , applying for the GC after getting to the States on the K1 visa ?

Thank you smile.png

I am assuming that you already have paid the I-129F fee. Then there is the K-1 visa fee that is dependent on your Consulate/Embassy (ours was $160), then there is the medical exam which again is dependent on your Consulate/Embassy (ours was $140). Then there is the adjustment of status at $1070 plus any additional medical charges depending if you have had the required shots (ours cost us $210). Then to get the 10 year GC there is the removal of conditions at $590. Now you are a LPR without any conditions. So figure around $2500 with sending required documents back and forth and miscellaneous expenses. Do not forget that there is airfare to get the fiancée to the US and the Marriage License fee and the cost of the wedding. This process is much like owning an airplane--it is fun to fly until you add up all the costs of ownership, so most people do not add up those costs.

Good luck,

Dave
