I've been reading here for a while, but I've seen different dates between the NOA1 and NOA2. I recieved my NOA1 on 11/6 and I am still waiting on them to do anything to it. The last time I was "touched" was 11/8. Is this common? Am I in too much of a hurry?(Good old government) I really would like to get the NOA2 for Christmas, but I don't know if they shut down for the holidays.

Thanks to everyone giving hints on how to make it easier. I followed the instructions listed here, mostly. I forgot to write on the photos. I'm still hoping that they forgive me for that.

We're just ready for it to be complete. I'm sure all of you can understand. Thanks again for all the help!

Touches mean nothing... you probably have at least another 45 days to go. Relax and have a cold beverage...

YMMV

Be patient, 45 more days would be nice. Mine was around 70, some other shorter, others longer. Don't get to excited about a touch either. Check the site as you wish but stay calm as it may be a while.

Check the timelines to get an idea of the average wait at CSC these days. With an NOA1 date of 11/6 it's rather unlikely that you will see an NOA2 by 12/25 - CSC doesn't process in 6 weeks. Plan on 90 days - give or take.

You can check out my signature to see how long it took us.

I was anxious like you too but it is better to understand that you will probably hear back after the New Year. There are still a bunch of Sept NOA1s waiting for well over 2 months.

And as far as touches, we had one on 10/30 that meant nothing.

Like it was said, sit back and relax....and know that your time will come :)
