we received our notice of approval for permanent residency today. I-485 receipt date was 3/22/2013. notice date on approval letter is 9/25/2013, so it was just over a 6 month wait.

we did recieve a notice a month or so ago stating that our case qualified for a possible interview waiver. no RFE's, no interview, no problems. my wife Stephannye and i are celebrating her "welcome to the USA" notice now!

thank you again everyone here on visa journey for all your help, advice, and assistance. getting to this point without having to employ an attorney at any step of the way would have been impossible otherwise.

Congrats!

K1 - Filed March 2011

- Denied March 13, 2012

- Placed in AP March 14,2012

- Sent back to USCIS November 2012

- Expired March 2013

WASTED A YEAR FIGHTING THE DENIEL

MARRIED MARCH 15, 2013

1-130 Approved 3/3/2014 :-)

Finally made it home 3/18/2014
