I filed an Adjustment of Status I-485 in Jan 2013, and received a letter in Feb 2013 requesting paystubs for affidavit of support. I sent everything they received it in Mar 2013. Its now September and I haven't heard anything from USCIS. I'm confused I thought this process takes approximately six months it going on nine months.

Does anyone have any advise on what to do?

Does anyone know the appropriate # to call to get an answer regarding this issue?

I'm just a little worried

Pls advise

For those being processed without an interview, it can take awhile, even a year. You can check out the timelines and case status of others in the AOS Progress Reports forum.

~ Moved from AOS from Family Based main forum to AOS from Family Based Progress Reports- topic is case status ~

Jay-Kay is correct. Since you came on a K1 visa, you might have been waived from an interview. Interview Waiver processing times are currently running at 8-12 months. If you check other threads on here, you will see that lots of people who filed around your date are still waiting. Hang in there, we're all hopefully close to approval.

Go to USCIS.GOV and check processing times for your local office, if they are processing beyond your received date. File a service request.

My local office is beyond my time, and I put in a service request and I called my senator's office and faxed them the info for them to check into it.
