i had my interview yesterday 9-25-2013. i checked my visa status at CEAC this morning around 11AM and it was under AP status. after less than an hour, i checked again and says ISSUED (Sept. 26, 2013). i also checked my passport and it says STILL AT POST. i am happy that the visa got issued already but was just wondering if it is normal for USEM to process a visa so quick? i mean, it's like 24hrs after my interview, it was issued already??????

Congratulations. Yes I think its very normal because my fiance visa was issued in 2 business days even though they told him it will take a week

Congratulations. Yes I think its very normal because my fiance visa was issued in 2 business days even though they told him it will take a week

What number do you use in checking it??

I'm using my MNL# at the CEAC website to check the visa status while i am using my passport# at the ustraveldocs website to track my passport.

oh oksmile.png i wasn't expecting to get issued that fast since my other k1 friends took more than a week before they got theirs.

Ya your one of the lucky ones, it takes some people several months to get it because its on AP. I know someone that has been on AP for 5 months and stil waiting.

AP for 5mos and still waiting????? that's almost equivalent to a K1 USCIS time frame approval!! dead.gif

Congratulations :) Our case is similar to yours, interview this week and it was only 2 days (one day AP and the second day Issued)...great turn around. We were very impressed with how quickly that happened. Best of luck to you on the remainder of your journey :D
