Granted I just set petition and got the notice it was received, but I feel I should be preparing or something. Just feels weird that I am just sitting on my hands.

You should be following the NVC filers thread every month until interview day so you know what's coming up.

Between April and now major changes been going on at NVC and that's the thread to know what to do.

You could have all your documents together BUT the police report.

Go to the thread read the 1st post many times and act accordingly.

Has your husband read all the nigerian interview reviews? I downloaded everyone of them at the time (97) in 2011 and 2012 and cleaned it up and had it all in a nice doc. The sample interview questions in the guides we both went through and answered for each of us (I needed to be quizzed to) ;).

So much prep you can do now so you aren't scramblin later. Should be a breeze if you front-loaded. Not even a need to side-load unless u have a visit between filing and NVC.

Have fun.

Well, you've been a member almost 6 years now.

As for 'doing something' ? I suggest to get a PC, then review the GUIDES section here at VJ.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I filed in 2007 for an ex husband and I used a lawyer so although I did some research i depended on the lawyer for a lot. I don't remember a lot of what i did then. Its been a while. but thanks for the input about getting a pc didn't think of that one. :D

ya, 'viewing' is different, when on a handphone or feckless pad.

Researching here is 1000 times better, on a PC.

Oh no well speedy total healing to you. And I totally understand trust me. When you get NOA2 your mind will totally go blank after all you will have read between now and approval (It happends trust me). You will run around like you have no mind. Than you will calm down and do NVC then, Case complete will make you giddy and cry. Then interview scheduled will make you crazed yet again. LOL It happens that's what we are all here for to lift up and encourage and smack you around and silly. hehe. heart.gif
