Good afternoon guys!

I just got a confirmation e-mail from the NVC saying they have received my DS-260.

Now they are asking for the civil documents... Can I send those documents scanned via e-mail ?? Or does it have to be in a letter?

**PLEASE HELP** :)

I bleieve you will have to send electronically since D260 is also submitted online. and you have been getting emails as well. send them as soon as you can before you get another mail from regarding civil documents. and do check there lists for civil documents before you submit which ever is applicable to your case as NVC takes a quite sometime in reviewing them.

Good luck!

nope they must be originals and be sent through postal service. the only thing you sent online is ds260 and ds261

Well if your case is electronic then you can send civil documents in the email. i sent mine through email and they were accepted.. you wil need to see if your local embessay accepts online forms.. you can get info on travel.state.gov as well.

Very few countries do EP (electronic processing.) Some are mandatory and some are optional (like China and Canada.) Most countries do not do electronic processing and must still send in their documents. The OP is in that category.
