Ive had my K1 interview last Sept.12 2013. It's almost a week now and my status hasn't changed. It only says READY but Ive gone w/ my interview and it has been approved. Ive checked my passport but still on post wc means it was still there at the consular section. I was wondering if they needed more documents or evidences from me. My interview had gone smoothly on that day. The Filipino consul told me at the last window Ive been to, just to wait for my passport to be delivered and I may now go. But my question is why they havent updated my status. If its on AdMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING I should've seen it on AP .But until now my status are still on READY even I was gone w/ my interview already. And if they needed more documents or evidences they should've handed me a green paper or 221(g) form but they did not. So my question is, is there anyone here who experienced the same case like mine? how long it would take? and how the process did go? Is there anyone here who can enlighten us ? pls. Thank you. Any answers is highly appreciated.

lucky you. AP means administrative processing.. it only takes days ,weeks but fr some other are months or so. It's normal for the consulate to check it again for further investigation that may take awhile or so.And yes if you chose to deliver it at home just sit and relax and wait for it make sure to have your identification card or 1 valid i.d. atleast or you can choose to pick it up to the branches of approved courier of the us embassy. While for me sad to say mine hasnt changed like I was gonna go for an interview. But Im done with it and has been approved but still on "READY" status not "AP" nor "ISSUED". :(

I was also interviewed last September 12 and I haven't hear any who had that interview date whose visa was issued. My interview went smoothly, it's just that they needed the earlier divorce paper of my fiance, so I dropped it at 2GO the next day. You status didn't change from READY even after your interview? Did you notice the "Status Updated Date"? Mine changed from READY to AP then I checked this morning it's still on AP, but it is noted that "Status Updated September 18" I am hoping to hear from the Embassy soon. Did you try to call them? You are fine. Just hang on and keep the patience with you. Anyway, some have been experiencing technical issues on CEAC too. Some even experienced that the system froze while having the interview :) Let's be positive

Im just worried cz actually it's not normal. Ive done w my interview and yes that day was smooth and fine. It only took me a less than 4hrs inside the embassy. My last consul havent said anything to me while I was called by the Filipina consul at the last window and have told me I WAS APPROVED and i may now go and wait for my passport w/ visa to be delivered. Im just wondering why it takes so long to get new update. Actually it has been updated today as of Sept 18 2013 and still on the "READY" status.. :/

The embassy states in their instructions letter that it can take up to two weeks for delivery of the visa AFTER issuance (not interview date). Be patient ... It has only been 4 business days since your interview...

They've not updated your status

because

the visa packet is still being put together.

This takes some time,

and there is a queue for it, as there are hundreds of visa packets to be put together.

Relax, you.

When the visa packet is finished, this putting together, it'll get lobbed out to the mail room inside the IV Unit, and eventually a 2GO delivery van will show up.

Wait, relax, go easy.
