Medical date too early??? help!

My interview is on october 21 and i decided to go do my medical on September 18. Something wrong with the dates? is it too early from my interview date? They require atleast 1 week before the interview, now im a month ahead of that. Is this fine? i have booked my ticket from cebu to manila. bound for manila tomorrow. Please help me... thanks.

Medical is good for 1 year.

Visa validity date is 6 months from the date of the medical.

Chuck&Jade, no issue with doing it that far from your interview. Ensures your results will get to USEM prior to the interview.

However, your 6-month clock (to POE in the US) starts from the day the medical is complete. So just keep that in mind when planning your flight. (The exam itself is good for one year, and can be used for your AOS if you file within that year)

They make the applicant do another medical because after the 6 months of treatment the visa would be void before it was even issued.

Bumbero, as Hank said, your window to enter the US is 6 months from medical. The exam itself is valid for one year. So doing the 6-month sputum thingy would give a person NO TIME to do the interview, CFO, and fly. Hence you must re-do the medical (and pay again, unfortunately).

my medical is last sept. 2 and i met a filipina there name shiela her interview date is oct. 21 the same a yours.. and she passed and only wait for her interview.. she is so nice...she is also Bisaya... hope u can meet her and her children during your interview
