Y'all have me worried. I wrote nothing on the back of our pictures. (About 50)

I DID hole punch and use ACCO fasteners. We are not K-1 filers, but CR-1. The photos were mostly wedding pictures. We promptly received our NOA1.

Best of luck getting these issues resolved.

It sounds like you did everything right. You sent both primary (passport pages, airfare receipts) and secondary evidence (photos). Unless something has changed with USCIS procedures recently, they should have accepted your photos. I submitted the I-129F NOA on 07/11/13, and I included 20 4x6 photo prints. Like you, I wrote the names, dates, & locations on the back of each photo, & put them all in a ziplock bag. I also sent passport stamps, airline receipts, boarding pass, and we were just approved by Texas Service Center on 09/11/13 with no RFE. Sounds like it all depends on who is scanning in the initial I-129F paperwork. It's hard to imagine they don't have a flatbed scanner to scan in different size documents. If USCIS expects all documents to arrive on 8.5" x 11" paper so they can easily run them through a document feeder, then they should include that in the instructions. But that would be too logical.

Kinda got me worried too. They got my packet on 9-5-2013, got the NOA1 of 9-9-2013. I put in a clear plasitic ziplock bag attached to blank paper 6 5x7 printed from digtal photos we took on my trip to see my finacee. I just kinda hoping this was fluke. If you resummbitt might be helpful to try a couple of the different formats people have been talking about here, that way they can pick and choose which they want then let us know what they take. Hopefully it will make more sense with some time and more correspondence.

I applied for a K1 Visa I129F followed the instructions here (thank you!) Sent it on 9/11/2013 with Checked cashed on the 12th and an SRC number assigned 09/13 from the Texas.

Today i received my (5) 4x6 color photos returned stating that they cannot support my application/petition with photo pictures. They are standard pictures in the format stated in the guide here.

Anyone else had this issue?

thanks,

-Cary

Did you include the airfare receipts, copy of passport with the stamps in the petition you sent in. May be a silly question, but...

Just curious why they would return the photos.... seems strange.

I included all the flight information, passport showing entry and exit etc.... each picture was a 4x6 with Names, location, and time. the pictures were in a baggy paperclipped to a blank sheet of paper and also included in the enclosure document.

I followed the instructions from the guide to every detail. If all the other information is fine then great. Just threw me off that my pictures were returned for whatever reason. I would hate to have an RFE stating i needed more proof that we met within 2 years, when the only thing i have left to prove it, is the pictures, which they wouldn't accept.

I put several pix into a word document and printed that out in B & W. I probably sent 15 pix on four 8.5 x 11 of just her and I and about half that many of her family members. I recieved our NOA2 about 20 days later. We are just waiting for her medical and interview now.

Chrichar34,

You are fine... All photos during your visit with families, friends will be bring during the interview. Paste the picture in bond paper and put a label on it like family gatherings held at on August ____ with so and so. if it is in the album then put a label on it, location, date and names of families in the picture with you..

Good Luck..

Just for shear sanity, i did give the hotline a call today and they sent the photo's back as they didn't them. It was just a generic letter they sent. the processor looked at my record and i passed the proof of evidence (he said it was checked off) if that really means anything. so i now have additional pictures for my lovely fiance to show at the interview someday soon i hope :D

I just wanted to pass along to the other worry warts like myself :) In case it happens to them.
